This is such a fun cake for a fun party.  It was a bridal shower garden party, so the bright colored flowers were piped on.  At the party, everyone was supposed to wear their favorite “fancy shoes”, and the bride was to select her favorite!  Girlie, girlie — I added sugar rhinestones on the shoes, along with edible glitter.

This bride and groom had a large group of friends and family to serve at their wedding reception, so they chose to have a beautiful tiered cake as the main focal point.  For additional cake, they had the festive cupcake tree that guests could help themselves to.  It truly looked like a party!

This was a fun wedding cake for me!  The bride brought me edible pictures of herself, her groom, and their children.  I put them around both tiers of the wedding cake, so every angle was unique!  I’m sure the kids liked be included also!

The mini tier cakes are three sizes stacked, but are only one layer each size, rather than the two layers on a full size tiered cake.  This look is a little more special than just having a sheet cake for your special occasion, and still at a good price point.  There is a cardboard between each layer, so you just work your way to the bottom!

The colors on this wedding cake seem almost extreme (lime green and dark brown).  However, the end result was sharp, and with the same colors on all of the tables using cloth napkins inserted into the drinking glasses,  the total look was beautiful.

This fun cake was for a graduation, but I think the design could be used for many occasions and a large age group.  Colors could be changed depending on favorites of the guest of honor.

Yes, it is a wedding cake!  Although pretty bold, it was a pretty eye-catching design!  The bridesmaids wore red and the groomsmen were in black with red, so the theme carried through to the cake.

I had a cake on display in the mock reception of the Billings Hotel ballroom for their wedding show this year.  Each tier had a different design, with silver and gold dragees and white chocolate molding clay dots.  I combined different cake shapes – square, round and hexagon – and the mixture made it an interesting cake to look at.  All four designs could be used in future wedding cakes, or one or two favorites would make for an elegant cake.
